Digital Marketing Specialist

Position: Digital Marketing Specialist
Reports To: Director of Digital Marketing
Location: Remote

Role Overview:
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will support our paid and organic social media efforts across various platforms for multiple clients. You will also support basic email marketing and SEO tasks. This role involves assisting with campaign setup, SEO, email setup, campaign execution, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with client goals and overall digital marketing strategies. You’ll work closely with account managers and other team members to deliver exceptional results for our clients while gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Setup and Management:
    • Create and manage paid social media campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn platforms.
    • Set up and schedule email campaigns on platforms like Klaviyo, Constant Contact, MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.
    • Schedule, post, and monitor organic social media content for clients.
  2. Content Development:
    • Enterprise new social media themes and ideas for ongoing campaign calendars.
    • Draft captions, hashtags, and creative asset ideas for client social campaigns.
    • Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and clients to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
  3. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, engagement rates) for paid social campaigns and organic reach.
    • Prepare and deliver performance reports with actionable insights on paid social campaigns and organic reach.
  4. Client Collaboration:
    • Work closely with account managers to align social media efforts with client objectives.
    • Ensure client requests and feedback are incorporated into campaigns promptly.
  5. Social Platform Research and Trend Monitoring:
    • Stay updated on platform changes, advertising policies, and emerging social media trends.
  6. SEO Updates:
    • Work with Project Managers to carry out basic on-page SEO updates such as writing and updating meta descriptions, titles, and image alt text. Ensure web pages and blog posts are aligned with basic SEO practices.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss campaign updates, performance, and opportunities for optimization.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
  • Excellent written communication and creativity for content development.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager).
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Insights, some Google Analytics) and their role in social media reporting.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (platform-specific schedule tools, Pallyy, or similar) is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.) is a plus, but not required.

Training and Support:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will receive the following training and resources to ensure success:

  • Platform-specific training on paid and organic social media management tools.
  • Platform-specific training on email marketing tools.
  • Training on basic SEO practices.
  • Guidance on Hark’s internal processes for campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Timely and accurate campaign execution for clients.
  • Consistent delivery of engaging and on-brand content.
  • Measurable improvements in client campaign performance (engagement, ROI).
  • Effective communication and collaboration with account managers and team members.
